Responsibilities:
Solution Design and Implementation:
Designing and implementing SAP FI solutions that align with business requirements and best practices.
Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, and translating them into functional specifications for SAP FI.
Integration with Other Modules:
Ensuring seamless integration of SAP FI with other SAP modules like SD (Sales and Distribution), MM (Materials Management), and others.
System Configuration and Customization:
Configuring and customizing the SAP FI module to meet specific business needs, including setting up chart of accounts, account determination, and document types.
Testing and Quality Assurance:
Developing test strategies, test plans, and test scripts, and performing functional testing to ensure the quality of SAP FI solutions.
Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution:
Providing support and troubleshooting for SAP FI related issues, and resolving problems in a timely manner.
Documentation:
Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation for SAP FI solutions, including design documents, configuration documents, and test results.
Staying Updated:
Keeping abreast of the latest SAP FI features, functionalities, and best practices, and sharing this knowledge with the team.
Leading and Mentoring:
Providing guidance and mentorship to junior consultants and team members on SAP FI related topics.
Migration and Upgrades:
Leading or participating in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration projects.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Extensive experience in SAP FI configuration, customization, and implementation, including full-cycle implementations.
Technical Skills:
Strong understanding of SAP FI modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), and Controlling (CO).
Functional Expertise:
Deep functional knowledge of financial accounting principles and processes.
Integration Knowledge:
Experience with integrating SAP FI with other SAP modules and external systems.
Problem-Solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Project Management:
Experience in managing SAP FI projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Additional Desired Skills:
S/4HANA experience: Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance, including its new features and functionalities.
Industry-specific knowledge: Knowledge of financial processes and regulations specific to the industry.
Cloud experience: Experience with SAP Cloud solutions, such as SAP BTP.
