The Fellow will work closely with MS Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF), Tamil Nadu and the Watershed Support Serves and Activities Network (WASSAN), Andhra Pradesh. The ultimate goal is to facilitate knowledge transfer across program coordinators and staff within the development sector and enable knowledge sharing across different geographies for greater impact. What are playbooks Playbooks are a tool for engagement, first developed for the Green Rural Economy (GRE) initiative. We conceptualised them on the premise that reframing knowledge as solutions to user needs will increase the capacity of changemakers and CSOs to problem solve. Over the last two years, we have made online and offline playbooks using various methodologies. More about playbooks can be found . Responsibilities Knowledge Curation and Consolidation for Playbooks: Collaborate with MSSRF and WASSAN to collect existing knowledge resources in various formats (e.g., reports, research papers, training materials). Analyze and consolidate these documents to gather knowledge about the solution. Scope out the users, prospects, and opportunities attached to the playbooks through online and on-field workshops. Creation of playbooks: Identify and bridge knowledge gaps through in-person interviews and field visits to solution sites with the organisaitons officials. Gather insights from experts and validate discussions through fieldwork. Connect with both solution providers and users directly impacted by the solutions. Delving deeper into personal anecdotes of users and experts helps us learn more nuances about the solution. Design Review: Work with the we'll Labs research team to create playbook structure and visualise it with the designers. Compile and structure the playbook to enhance user comprehension. Review and validate the secondary research utilised for the content created for the playbook. Conduct Peer Review to validate solution: Conduct secondary research and peer review to validate our findings through peer reviews from relevant organisations and incorporate user feedback from partner organisations. Collate review from we'll Labs team, partner organisations, and TCPL and incorporate changes in the playbooks draft. User Experience Research: Engage in user experience research conversations with trainers, service providers, and other stakeholders to understand their journey and future needs in knowledge documentation and management. About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated Fellow to join our team for a duration of six months to support the facilitation of initiatives in Raichur. The Fellow will work closely with the GRE initiative and Rural Futures programme at WELL Labs. The Fellow will engage with GRE s consortium partners such as Socratus Foundation and Udhyam Foundation to leverage their expertise in building entry pathways into the community and developing the Raichur sandbox (based on learnings from the ). The overall objective will be to facilitate the sourcing and servicing of requests (knowledge/training/vendor connections or other) from various community collectives and stakeholders within the sandbox and its collaborating organisations. Responsibilities Mapping partners and collectives in Raichur: Conduct a preliminary mapping exercise of the civil society organisations, social enterprises and relevant partner organisations in Raichur Stakeholder engagement: The Raichur Sandbox provides a unique opportunity to engage with diverse user archetypes such as FPOs, SHGs, climate advocates, non-profit professionals, government stakeholders and more. Conduct interviews/conversations with potential users to strengthen the user personas for the GRE platform. Regular cadence with Rural futures team, WELL Labs to onboard requests and support them with plugging in solutions from GRE Request-Response Matching: Matching requests with solutions: This entails discovering and vetting solution providers and identifying and reporting on bottlenecks that limit the transferability of their solutions to this new landscape. Implement systems to track, analyse, and report on the matches between incoming requests and available responses. Demand-based Clinics/Field Schools: Curate demand based Q&A sessions called Clinics between solution seekers and solution providers. Document/ digitise these clinics as know-how that can be disseminated in the sector. Collaborate with consortium partners to curate offline field schools, training and workshops that can aid the demand discovery process.
