As a Telecom Provisioning & Activation Executive at HCL Technologies, you will be responsible for configuring and activating telecom services for enterprise and residential customers. Your primary role will involve provisioning services such as data, voice, VPN, and leased lines based on customer requirements. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of services and escalate any delays or configuration issues proactively. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in provisioning various telecom services as per customer needs. - Perform service activation and validation using standard scripts. - Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery. - Monitor order queues and handle provisioning tasks using OSS/BSS tools. - Document completed tasks and update customer provisioning status. - Maintain accurate records of network elements, circuits, and configurations. - Participate in shift operations and ensure adherence to SLAs. In this role, you will have the opportunity to learn: - Basics of telecom architecture (Layer 1, 2, and 3) - Provisioning systems like Cramer, Siebel, Remedy, etc. - Configuring network devices from vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Huawei. - IP Address management, VLANs, and routing protocols. - Real-time coordination between cross-functional telecom teams. - Usage of service delivery tools and ticketing systems. Skills & Qualifications: - Good communication skills (verbal and written). - Basic understanding of networking concepts. - Eagerness to learn about telecom infrastructure. - Attention to detail and ability to follow processes. - Willingness to work in shifts, including night shifts or weekends. - Familiarity with MS Excel and reporting tools is a plus. Preferred Certifications (not mandatory): - Cisco CCNA (Beginner Level). - NOC or Telecom Network Fundamentals Training.
