Roles and Responsibilities

Participate in the design, development, and deployment of high-performance React Native applications using Expo (Managed and Bare workflows).

• Contribute to architectural decisions that ensure scalability, modularity, and maintainability of

the codebase.

• Build cross-platform applications targeting mobile (Android/iOS) and desktop environments (e.g., Expo for Web or Electron).

• Work alongside product managers and UI/UX designers to translate complex business requirements into elegant user interfaces.
• Integrate RESTful and SOAP APIs and ensure secure and reliable data exchange across layers. • Support development of reusable component libraries, SDK integrations, and common service layers.
• Write clean, well-documented, testable code and help enforce enterprise coding standards and best practices.

• Monitor application performance, resolve bugs, and proactively address scalability or performance bottlenecks.

• Participate in peer code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and knowledge-sharing sessions. • Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, technical estimation, and continuous improvement processes.

• Work with enterprise architects to enforce modular architecture, facilitate code reuse across multiple teams/products.

• Contribute to the decision-making process regarding platform strategy (e.g., Expo vs native modules, Mono Repo structure, CI/CD pipelines).
• Support implementation of enterprise design systems and cross-platform UI consistency.

• Collaborate on defining and documenting technical design patterns, architectural blueprints, and scalability strategies.

• Ensure compliance with security, accessibility, and performance standards across all platforms.

Desired Expertise / Technical Skill

• 3-5 years of professional experience as a React Native developer.

• Strong understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS, and mobile development best practices.

• Hands-on experience with React Native and Expo (Managed and Bare workflows).

• Familiarity with building and deploying apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.

• Familiarity with component-driven development, monorepos, and design system integration.

• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

• Understanding of responsive design and cross-platform UI development.

• Good problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Quick learner, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

• Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest, Detox, or React Native Testing Library.

• Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.

• Experience integrating with enterprise-level APIs (REST, SOAP) and handling auth flows (OAuth2, JWT).

• Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., finance, healthcare) with an understanding of compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
