Were a profitable company, backed by the largest seed round in the world with 212 angel investors Over 4,000+ operators and leaders from Apple, TikTok, Spotify, Slack, Netflix, Zoom, Google, Swiggy, and Microsoft useGrowthX products The founders were product & growth leaders at Razorpay and CRED The team today is a diverse group of ex-founders, growth leaders, PhD researchers, game designers, and artists?united by the ambition to build the career infrastructure of India What is this role, really At GrowthX, the Creative Studio is working to build a media house We deeply believe in the role of content to build an audience, and are suckers for the nuances of delivering it In this role, you will own everything visual that we create at GrowthX You will work and create designs across the company working with team members in the creative studio, marketing, talent and learning experience Our business is thriving, our customer base continues to grow, and we believe the impact of this role will fuel our company to grow in unprecedented ways As our visual designer, youll give life and shape to how the world perceives GrowthX on the outside Our ideal candidate for this role will have a duality to their personality They will be limitless in idea generation and also need to be able to work within our proven video formats This position will have a huge learning curve, creating content watched by the top 1% leaders, founders, investors & operators from the startup ecosystem What youll be doing Own static design across multiple teams and work cross-functionally Co-own CTR as a metric especially across YouTube, Newsletters and Blogs Own landing pages, IP design & GTM creatives for launches across teams Work closely with the Creative Studio and Marketing team to execute their design needs and help in everything visual and design Come up with design-led content ideas that can be implemented across our channels Research and stay updated with current design trends and how are competitors positioning their products Create variants and A/B test to understand which design style creates the highest impact Build and champion a design-oriented way of working and thinking across the team Define and document design decisions to optimise our internal process About You Startup Fit You know what you're getting into, and the prospect of joining a small and growing team excites you You want ownership over your work and can function independently You want more responsibility and accountability doesn't scare you You want to drive impact in your particular area of expertise on the product You understand the startup mindset You are comfortable with uncertainty and remain adaptable in what you do You seek to build quick iterations and learn fast You're used to being scrappy and can function in a way that is nimble and resourceful You seek growth You've effectively worked on small and close-knit teams You're comfortable having little support structure but know what it looks like and feel empowered to build it You're motivated by impact and the opportunity to create something new You care about what you build and want to create with efficiency You're user-driven in what you do You're comfortable and eager to meet customers and want to develop an empathetic understanding of their problems to ensure we're building the right solutions Your Technical Skills & Experience 1-3+ years of designing artefacts across social channels Maestro with tools like: Photoshop and Illustrator A deep desire to understand user needs, clearly define solutions and deliver those through thoughtful design Insight into what makes users select your content among a stream of hundred other options Bonus Points Previous startup experience (you have thrived in an unstructured, ambiguous environment) You are a Figma advocate and you are part of different design communities You have dabbled in video editing and have basic knowledge of tools like Premiere Pro and After Effects, or equivalent video-editing tools Experience designing thumbnails and infographics Culture fitment You've effectively worked on small and close-knit teams You know what you're getting into, and the prospect of joining a small and growing team excites you You want ownership over your work and can function independently You want more responsibility and accountability doesn't scare you You want to drive impact in your particular area of expertise on the product You are comfortable with uncertainty and remain adaptable in what you do You seek to build quick iterations and learn fast You're used to being scrappy and can function in a way that is nimble and resourceful You seek growth You're comfortable and eager to meet customers and want to develop an empathetic understanding of their problems to ensure we're building the right solutions
