Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor with experience or strong interest in the healthcare industry. You will be responsible for creating compelling, high-quality video content that communicates complex medical information clearly and effectively to patients, professionals, and the broader community. This includes promotional videos, patient education, training materials, and social media content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into engaging video content for various platforms (YouTube, social media, internal training, patient portals).
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, marketing teams, and creative staff to understand video goals and target audiences.
• Enhance video content with appropriate graphics, animations, subtitles, and effects while maintaining brand consistency.
• Ensure medical terminology and procedures are represented accurately and sensitively.
• Manage multiple video projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Organize and archive video assets for easy retrieval and future use.
• Stay updated on video trends, especially in healthcare communication and education.
• Optimize videos for accessibility, including closed captions and screen-reader compatibility.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio required), preferably in healthcare or a regulated industry.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar video editing tools.
• Strong storytelling skills with a focus on clarity and empathy.
• Understanding of HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy best practices is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate with non-creative staff (e.g., doctors, nurses, compliance teams) and translate technical input into accessible visuals.
• Experience with motion graphics, animation, or 3D medical illustrations is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Digital Media, Communications, or a related field preferred.
