Utility Attendant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Utility Operator to manage and operate HVAC systems and cooling towers at our facility. The candidate will ensure smooth operation, perform routine checks, and support maintenance activities to maintain system efficiency, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor HVAC systems, chillers, AHUs, and cooling towers as per standard procedures.
• Perform daily inspections of utility equipment and log operational parameters.
• Monitor system performance and report any deviations or abnormalities.
• Ensure chemical dosing and water quality in cooling towers as per norms.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks like filter replacement, belt checks, greasing, etc.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain records of temperature, pressure, flow rates, and utility consumption.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Support energy-saving and system optimization initiatives.
• Participate in audits, trainings, and emergency drills as required.

Skills & Competencies:

• Hands-on experience in HVAC and cooling tower operations.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, P&IDs, and log sheets.
• Familiarity with water treatment practices for cooling systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency calls.

Preferred Qualifications:

• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
• Experience in industrial or commercial HVAC & utility plant operations.

Understanding of GMP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹16,500.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
