Job Description

As an Underwriting New Associate at Accenture, you will be part of a global professional services company known for its expertise in digital, cloud, and security services. With a focus on Property & Casualty Underwriting, you will play a crucial role in supporting the regional UA Manager and acting as the primary point of contact for all UAs in the region. Your responsibilities will include triaging submissions for missing information, following up with brokers on outstanding items, and issuing policies, endorsements, and cancellations. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing policy writing instructions, premium billings, and processing individual policy filings. To excel in this role, you should ideally have 6-8 years of experience in Property & Casualty Underwriting or Policy Servicing within shared services or Third-Party BPO service providers. Experience in Re-Insurance Fac and Treaty business would be a valuable asset. Furthermore, you will be expected to assist underwriters in preparing business and metric reports, reviewing procedures to resolve issues, and performing quality control of premium audit statements before underwriting review. Your attention to detail and ability to document discrepancies for resolution will be critical in ensuring the efficiency and accuracy of underwriting processes.
