UI Path Selenium - Automation Testing

As a testing/automation capability hire on this team, you would get opportunities to work on all adjacent area technologies such as user interface/user experience testing, integration testing, performance testing, writing UI and API automation scripts.

As Automation tester, you will be responsible for the design, create and execute, test scripts for software testing and quality assurance purposes. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our testing processes are effective, provide application-level validation and verification as per the requirement.

Skills / Project Experience:

Must Have:

• Bachelors Degree with 2-6 years of industry experience as an automation tester in Selenium focusing on UI automation.

• Good experience of Core Java Programming, OOPs concepts and Data structures.

• Experienced in writing complex Xpaths for Ui element identification.

• Experienced in writing Automation test strategy and developing automation framework from scratch.

• Well versed page object model, page factory and other selenium concepts

• Experienced with CI/CD integration.

• Hands on experience on scripting language (VB script/ Gherkin etc.)

• Hands on Experience in designing highly reusable and efficient Automation Test framework design in Selenium and able to maintain/support an automation framework

• Experience in building and adhering the automation processes/standards and guidelines to meet code quality benchmark and robustness of overall framework for future maintenance

• Experience in developing

  high-quality

  test automation suite in a cross-browser environment

• Experienced in working with different Data Types, Variables, Operators, Flow Control Statements, and Methods

• Ability to handle exceptions, File I/O, API interactions and Database Operations

• Experience on Agile/Scrum based delivery

• Experience in building end to end automation scripts with code modularity and reusability

• 4+ year hands-on test Automation Development Experience with tools like Selenium, JUnit, TOSCA, Worksoft, Renorex, Cucumber, Test Complete, Microfocus UFT, RPA tools (Automation Anywhere, UI Path, Blue Prism)

• Experience in creating detailed test cases/scripts for technical and/or business clients, CI/CD using Jenkins, GIT, Bitbucket

• Developing automated test scripts and frameworks for improved UI Web performance

• Working with a variety of databases and coding programs, such as Objective-C, Java, HTML, as well as XML and JSON feeds

• Working knowledge of mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android and updating operating systems, specifically iOS, Android

• Good understanding of domain or industry to drive the deliverables that meet clients’ business objective

Preferred:

• Experience in Automation development in an agile environment

• Working knowledge of test management tools like Microfocus ALM / Bugzilla / Visual Studio Test Manager /Maven /JIRA /qTest / TestLink/ TestRail/ Zephyr

• Experience providing QA for mobile, web, and back-end services—especially ones as design-oriented as Tumblr.

• Working knowledge of mobile operating systems such as iOS and Android.

• Experience conducting usability tests, and an ability to empathize with users’ unique perspectives.

• Familiarity with Espresso, XCUI, or KIF

• A practiced eye for pixel misalignments, margin errors, and other visual details

• In-depth understanding of IOS and Android testing frameworks like Appium

• Responsible for maintaining latest code artifacts in version control systems like GIT and SVN.

• Experience in setting up and configuring test environments is highly preferred

• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions

• Expertise in database testing including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procs, jobs, triggers and replication.

• Experience with functional testing of web and

  thick-client applications

• Able to evaluate and test automation tools/libraries and develop a proof of concept with them

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

B.E./B. Tech/M.C.A./M.Sc. (CS) degree or equivalent from accredited university   

Prior Experience:

1-6 years of prior experience in automation selenium on UI automation.
