1. Corporate Outreach & Company Engagement
Independently identify and build a comprehensive pipeline of companies (across IT, core
engineering, product-based, consulting, startups, etc.) suitable for the diverse student skill
sets at the college.
Strategically identify the right decision-makers and placement influencers within companies
— such as HR Heads, Talent Acquisition Leads, Campus Hiring Managers, or Department Heads
— through networking, LinkedIn, alumni referrals, job portals, and industry events.
Execute structured outreach campaigns via calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person meetings to
introduce the college’s talent pool and value proposition.
Consistently follow up with targeted contacts, maintain engagement, and convert outreach
into confirmed participation in campus recruitment drives or hiring programs.
2. Drive Campus Placements
Plan and execute a well-structured annual placement calendar with regular company
participation across departments and disciplines.
Coordinate end-to-end logistics of each drive — from pre-placement talks, student
registrations, interview rounds, to final selection announcements.
Ensure personalized engagement with each recruiter to facilitate a smooth and professional
recruitment experience.
3. Student Readiness & Training Coordination
Assess placement trends and customize training programs (aptitude, technical,
communication, group discussion, interviews) through internal and external trainers.
Regularly interact with students to understand their goals, readiness levels, and expectations;
offer tailored guidance and mentorship for better outcomes.
Encourage student participation in internships, industry projects, and online certifications to
boost employability.
4. Alumni & Industry Network Utilization
Leverage alumni working in key companies to gain entry into corporate recruitment
ecosystems.
Build and maintain a strong industry network including past recruiters, hiring managers, and
placement consultants.
Organize alumni-student interactions, mock interviews, and placement prep talks with
industry experts.
5. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Maintain an accurate database of company contacts, communication logs, placement drives
conducted, student participation, and offer statistics.
Prepare periodic reports and dashboards to monitor placement KPIs — including placement
percentage, average salary, highest offers, and recruiter diversity.
Submit data and documentation as required for NBA, NAAC, NIRF, and other quality audits.
