We are looking for a Barista(Coffee)/Beverages Maker to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of Coffees, Shakes, Mocktails, Smoothies & Bubble Teas. The person should know how to operate a semi-automatic coffee machine. Minimum 1-2 years of experience in making drinks, serving and order taking is must. Barista responsibilities include educating customers on our drinks and food menu, making recommendations based on their preferences, up-selling special items and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should also be able to work in various shifts. Ultimately, you’ll ensure an excellent Drinking & Food experience for our guests. Responsibilities Should be able to take order properly and do upselling (this is the most important requirement) Greet customers as they enter the cafe. Give customers menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients and other things. Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios, other food details as requested by clients) Prepare beverages by following recipes strictly. Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins and complete menu. Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) Keep the bar area clean. Maintain stock & clean mugs and plates. Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report if any maintenance is required. Comply with health and safety regulations. Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items Requirements and skills Previous work experience as a Barista, Beverages Maker, Mixologist and food preparer & server with a min. of 1-2 years. Hands-on experience with brewing equipment Order taking skill is must Knowledge of sanitation regulations Flexibility to work various shifts Basic math skills Cleaning Ability to gauge customers’ preferences Excellent communication skills High school diploma; relevant training is a plus. As a multi-cuisine Commis Chef I - III , you will be responsible for preparing basic Indo-Chinese food like Chowmein, Chilli Paneer, Momos, Manchurian and more along with Pizzas, Pastas, Sandwiches, Burgers, Salads, Wraps. Applicant with the proper Knowledge of Artisanal Pizza will be preferred. Our Cafe is Pure Vegetarian. Applicant with the Knowledge & Experience in Indian dishes along with the above mentioned dishes will be given more preference. Ensures the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keeps up to date with the new products, recipes and preparation techniques as well as Maintaining Cleanliness. Role and Responsibilities: Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors to complete the daily tasks. Takes care of daily food preparation and duties assigned by the superiors to meet the standard and the quality set by the Restaurant. Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met. Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times. Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis. Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation. Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards. Follows good preservation standards for the proper handling of all food products at the right temperature. Have excellent knowledge of menu creation, whilst maintaining quality and controlling costs in a volume food business. Personally responsible for hygiene, safety and correct use of equipment and utensils. Experience: At least 1 - 3 years experience cooking in a well-established restaurant. Trial: A proper trial will be taken in order to take your application forward.
