Position Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Hindi Teacher to teach Grades 4 to 7. The candidate must be proficient in the subject and capable of delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons. As a residential school, the role includes participation in academic support beyond school hours and taking part in school life and student development outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Hindi language and literature to students in Grades 4 to 7 as per the CBSE curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, activities, and assessments that support language acquisition and grammar understanding.
• Foster reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Hindi.
• Encourage appreciation of Hindi literature, poetry, and culture.
• Provide support during evening study hours (prep time) and offer academic help as needed.
• Participate in school events, literary activities, and Hindi-related celebrations or competitions.
• Take on pastoral and residential duties as per the school schedule.
• Maintain discipline and promote a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Hindi along with a B.Ed. (mandatory).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience teaching Hindi at the middle school level (CBSE).
• Prior experience in a residential school is an advantage.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to inspire a love for language and learning in young students.
