Technical Product Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product development for smart helmets and connected devices
• Solve or coordinate solutions for issues in Bluetooth connectivity, mesh intercom, and rider communication systems
• Lead feature development, product roadmaps, and technical feasibility studies for new hardware products
• Oversee integration and testing of cameras, ensuring functionality, video quality, and compatibility with communication features
• Manage product design aspects, including buttons, enclosures, mounts, using CAD and 3D prototyping workflows
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies for electronics, embedded firmware, mechanical parts, and testing
• Scout and propose new product ideas aligned with smart mobility and rider safety trends
• Ensure product performance, reliability, and user experience meet HeadFox's standards

Preferred candidate profile

• Preferred Experience - 3-5 years in smart electronics, IoT devices, or consumer tech product development
• Experience with rider communication systems, smart helmets, wearables, or mobility products
• Proven record of handling Bluetooth, Mesh Networks, and wireless hardware integration
• Camera system integration in a hardware product (even basic prototypes acceptable)
• Understanding of product lifecycle from concept, prototyping, validation, to mass production

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of Bluetooth Classic, BLE, Mesh Intercom protocols, audio communication integration
• Firmware troubleshooting, understanding of wireless protocols, connectivity debugging
• Familiarity with camera modules, video streaming basics, integration with embedded systems Proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks, Fusion 360), 3D printing, enclosure and mechanical design
• Hands-on with PCBs, circuit design basics, prototyping, component selection
• Ability to independently solve cross-functional technical challenges across electronics and mechanical domains
