Staff Nurse

Patient Care Provide direct nursing care to patients based on their needs. Monitor patients’ health conditions and report any changes to the physician. Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed. Assist with daily patient activities like bathing, feeding, and mobility. Assessment & Documentation Perform regular patient assessments (vital signs, physical condition). Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and charts. Document all nursing procedures and interactions. Medical Support Prepare patients for examinations and medical procedures. Assist doctors during examinations, surgeries, and other medical interventions. Ensure proper functioning and cleanliness of medical equipment. Health Education Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and aftercare. Provide guidance on disease prevention, nutrition, and lifestyle choices. Team Collaboration Coordinate with doctors, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in patient care planning and nursing rounds. Ensure proper handovers between shifts. Safety & Compliance Adhere to infection control protocols and hygiene standards. Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations. Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations. Administrative Duties Manage patient admission and discharge processes. Requisition and manage medical supplies and equipment. Maintain schedules and support ward management as needed. Professional Development Attend training, workshops, and continuing education sessions. Stay updated on current nursing practices and healthcare developments.
