Job Description- Roles and Responsibilities of a Line Inspector Inspecting and managing each step of the manufacturing process as per the company's policies and standards Checking the quality of the raw material and other incoming materials. Keeping and maintaining detailed quality records of the manufacturing process and manufactured products Ensuring the presence of documents such as SOP,WIP, PM sheet etc. for the machines Creating reports on the quality of manufactured products and submitting them to the supervisors such as a Module In charge or quality manager Making special documentation of the defective products and implementing measures to improve product quality Ensuring the quality of products is good enough to satisfy their customers Informing the line quality issues to shift in charge and follow-up for the action Must report and document the scrap/rework in line during inspection. Must monitor all the process parameters regularly Remove products with any defect or damage to the assigned area. Skill Set required Attention to detail and ability to identify defects or abnormalities Ability to use measuring tools and equipment accurately Good communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
