Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in hardware product development Key Skills Strong fundamentals in electronics – transistors, op-amps, etc. Experience in DC-DC Power Supply design Expertise in High-Speed Design – both single-ended and differential signals Proficient in digital board design using microcontrollers/microprocessors Good exposure to: Interfaces : USB, UART, SPI, I2C, MIPI CSI, SDIO, RGMII, LVDS, GMSL, Ethernet Design Analysis : Load, timing, thermal Testing & Validation of hardware designs Familiar with tools like: Schematic entry – OrCAD PCB design – Allegro Gerber viewers – Any standard viewer Practical understanding of physical layer-level debugging Working knowledge of PCB layer stack-up , signal integrity, thermal simulation Understanding of EMI/EMC standards and compliance testing – ESD, EFT, RE, CE, RS, etc. Prior team handling or mentoring experience is a plus Roles & Responsibilities Collaborate with leads/customers to gather hardware requirements Evaluate and select appropriate components Perform detailed design analysis – thermal, timing, power Design schematics and generate optimized BOMs Coordinate with the PCB team to ensure: EMI/EMC and DFM guidelines are followed Oversee board bring-up, testing, and design validation Perform pre-compliance testing for EMI/EMC in external labs Facilitate handoff to production with proper documentation Plan production-level test strategies and support test jig development Resolve production-related technical issues post-deployment
