Role & responsibilities SQL Server Database Administration: Administrate and maintain SQL Server databases, including installation, configuration, and patching. Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize performance. Assist in the design and implementation of database structures, ensuring the stability, security, and availability of SQL Server databases. Ensure high availability of databases by managing clustering and replication setups. Implement and manage database backup and recovery procedures to ensure business continuity. Regularly test database backup and restore procedures to validate disaster recovery plans. Manage user access and permissions in SQL Server databases to ensure compliance with security policies. Implement database auditing, and other security measures to protect sensitive data.
