The ideal candidate will ensure database performance, security, and availability while implementing best practices for data management. Key Responsibilities: Database Management: Install, configure, and maintain Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL databases. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize database performance, indexing, and query tuning. Backup & Recovery: Implement robust backup and disaster recovery strategies. Security & Compliance: Ensure database security, access control, and compliance with industry standards. Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues efficiently. Replication & High Availability: Configure database replication and clustering for high availability. Automation & Scripting: Develop automation scripts for database maintenance and monitoring. Collaboration: Work closely with developers, system administrators, and business teams to support database needs. Upgrades & Patching: Perform database upgrades, patches, and migrations as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: 7-8 years of experience in Oracle, MySQL, MS SQL, and PostgreSQL administration. Strong expertise in SQL tuning, indexing, and query optimization . Experience with database replication, clustering, and high availability solutions . Knowledge of backup strategies, disaster recovery, and failover mechanisms . Familiarity with cloud-based database solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. Proficiency in Linux and Windows server environments . Hands-on experience with automation tools (Shell scripting, Python, PowerShell) . Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
