Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Ensure the operational health of the SharePoint environment, including security, availability, performance, interoperability, and reliability.

  • Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.

  • Provide tier-three administration, support and configuration of SharePoint.

  • Stay current on all things Microsoft 365 / SharePoint, including changes and updates, roadmap and releases and third-party solutions.

  • Installing the SharePoint platform, integrating applications, and deploying solutions.

  • Adding users, controlling access to document libraries, and setting permissions.

  • Performing maintenance of the SharePoint platform, servers, and intranet.

  • Troubleshooting and resolving SharePoint issues or malfunctions.

  • Providing SharePoint support and end-user training.

  • Performing data retrieval and backup procedures to prevent data loss

  • Good hands on experience with SQL Database

  • SQL Server Database backup/Restore

  • SQL Server Query update

  • Manages and revises the layout of the site.

  • Customizes SharePoint site for company purposes.

  • Analyzes daily user activity on SharePoint.

  • Basics of SharePoint and Nintex workflow

  • Maintains records of SharePoint updates, maintenance, and activity.

  • Responsible for frequent minor activities like site access, files issue, list/libraries issues etc.

  • Develop requirements for new Website improvements based on customer feedback.

  • Engineer SharePoint solutions/O365 SharePoint Online migration and support.

  • Analyze and automate routine tasks for efficiency.

  • Handle 24*7 on-call standby support rotation.

  • Track and document issues and resolutions for reference by opening Service tickets

Troubleshoot issues by using the organizations knowledge base and other resources available

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.

  • In-depth understanding of active directory, Microsoft 365 and SharePoint Enterprise system.

  • Familiarity with workflow development practices.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

  • Working knowledge of essential service delivery best practices and principles.

  • Experience with Azure functions using .Net core, M365 power stack, Azure service bus and data gateway.
