SEO Specialist

Main Responsibilities & Goals

• Develop and implement effective SEO strategies to increase organic website traffic and improve search engine rankings.
• Conduct keyword research and optimise website content for target audiences and relevant search terms.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on website performance using analytics tools.
• Collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketing teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all digital initiatives.
• Identify and resolve technical SEO issues to enhance site health and user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and industry best practices.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in SEO, including on-page, off-page, and technical optimisation.
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and keyword research tools.
• Ability to analyse data, generate actionable insights, and present findings clearly.
• Experience with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

Formal education is not required; we value practical skills, experience, and a passion for SEO.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the trade services or construction industry.
• Familiarity with local SEO strategies for Australian markets.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website management platforms.
