Senior Tableau Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tableau Developer to become a valuable member of our Analytics team. Your primary responsibility will involve designing, developing, and enhancing Tableau dashboards and visual analytics solutions that are integral to driving our strategic business objectives. In this role, you will be tasked with creating and managing the technological infrastructure of a data platform. You will be actively involved in architecting, constructing, and overseeing data flows and pipelines, establishing data storages, and effectively visualizing data within Tableau. Your key duties will include converting business requirements and technical documents into efficient and testable code, crafting and documenting code for unit tests, optimizing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, and designing and managing BI tool schemas. To excel in this position, you must possess a solid understanding of fundamental and advanced SQL programming techniques, data warehousing principles, and data storage systems. You should be adept at optimizing system performance, conducting data quality analysis, and applying quality assurance practices. Experience with Python programming is considered advantageous, and strong communication skills in English are essential. Your experience in building Tableau reports will be crucial, as you collaborate closely with business stakeholders and analysts to gather reporting requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring timely Tableau data source refreshes, optimizing Tableau connections for efficiency, and designing interactive dashboards and visualizations. Additionally, you will work on enhancing existing dashboards, consolidating redundant ones, and ensuring dashboard performance and scalability across large datasets. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in Tableau development. - Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with ETL processes and data preparation tools. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
