Role & responsibilities : To do Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools for enhancing query performance To ensure backup / restore configuration is in adherence with the policy defined. To configure High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions Should have good written and verbal communication Should be Flexible, team player, -get-it-done- personality. Should have ability to organize and plan work independently. Should have ability to work in a rapidly changing environment. Should have ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams. To generate SQL Server health assessments reports Manage and prioritize work effectively with minimal supervision Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, disseminate, and present significant amounts of information with an attention to detail and accuracy Proficient with Microsoft Office Professional Preferred candidate profile Essential: Graduate any stream (BSc, B.E.I.T) Preferred: NA REQUISITE WORK EXPERIENCE Essential: Over 7+ years of IT experience with minimum, 5+ experience in SQL Installation, Configuration, Backup, Restoration, Monitoring and Administration of mission critical production environments in at large IT organizations Preferred: Over 7+ years of IT experience with minimum 5+ experience in SQL Installation, Configuration, Backup, Restoration, Monitoring and Administration of mission critical production environments in at large IT organizations CERTIFICATION : Essential: Should have MS DBA Certification
