Job Description

Key Areas of Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code.
Development of components required for the rollout of HR functionality with integration to upstream & downstream systems.
Liaise with other development teams to agree and document design of interrelated functions.
Support development manager by providing reliable estimates for work assigned and alerting them of delays or issues as early as possible.
Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
Contributing towards betterment of delivery e. g. peer reviews, unit testing etc.
Ensure code is rigorously tested before deployment to QA.

Requirements

5-7 years of IT experience in Java software development.
2-3 years of experience as a DevOps (CI/CD) or Support Engineer.
Strong Core Java skills and proficiency in the Spring framework.
Hands-on experience with relational databases, SQL (DML, DDL), messaging systems (JMS, MQ, Solace), and Hibernate.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux OS, scripting, and code management tools like GitHub or Perforce.
Experience with Maven, Tomcat, web applications, and system integration using industry-standard APIs and web services.
Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
