Senior QA Automation Test Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Test Consultant to lead quality assurance efforts through automation. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts, ensuring our software meets the highest standards of quality, performance, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other QA professionals to define test strategies, drive continuous improvement, and advocate for best testing practices across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Lead test automation initiatives across various projects and platforms. Design and implement scalable, reusable automated test frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing. Develop,execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, UFT, Playwright, or equivalent. Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps). Analyse test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with development teams. Drive adoption of automation in Agile/Scrum teams and mentor junior QA engineers. Review requirements and design documentation to ensure testability and completeness. Participate in test planning, estimations, and risk analysis. Monitor and report on test execution metrics and quality trends. Required Qualifications: 6+ years of experience in software QA, with 4+ years in test automation. Proficiency with automation tools like Selenium WebDriver, UFT, Playwright, or Appium. Strong programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages. Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or Karate. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control systems (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps).
