Job Description

JD - Senior Executive Finance and Accounts

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

Maintain accurate books of accounts (SAP) in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and ensure timely closure of books monthly/quarterly/annually.
Monitor accounts payable and receivable processes.

2. Financial Reporting

Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Support management with financial analysis, forecasts, and variance reports.
Ensure accuracy in MIS reports and dashboards.

3. Taxation & Compliance

Assist in handling GST, TDS, and other statutory filings and payments.
Ensure timely compliance with all regulatory requirements and coordinate with auditors and consultants.
Support internal and external audits with necessary documentation.

4. Budgeting & Cost Control

Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Monitor expenses and help control costs against the budget.

5. Banking & Treasury

Manage bank reconciliations, cash flow, and fund management.
Liaise with banks for transactions, credit facilities, and reconciliations.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Strong knowledge of accounting principles and Indian tax laws.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Advanced MS Excel skills.
Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CA (Inter), CMA, or CPA are preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in finance and accounting roles, with at least 1–2 years in a CA Firm/Relevant Industry.
