Senior Dialysis Technician

The Hans Foundation (THF) is a Public Charitable Trust established in 2009 with the mission to create an equitable society and enhance the quality of life for all by empowering marginalized and underprivileged communities in India. The foundation focuses on the health and wellbeing of remote and under-served groups, with special attention to children, persons with disabilities, and women. Additionally, THF is committed to holistic education and livelihood development for these communities. The foundation follows a Two-Fold Strategy, which involves working in Aspirational Districts and regions with high poverty indexes in the North, North-East, and East states, as well as serving lower-income and migratory populations in urban areas. With over 15 years of experience, THF has positively impacted more than 35 million beneficiaries through its various programs. The foundation directly implements projects on the ground and provides support to not-for-profit organizations in India funded through THF USA and RIST. PROJECT OVERVIEW: HRCC The Hans Foundation operates over 25 Hans Renal Care Centers (HRCC) on a self-implementation basis since January 2022. The HRCC intervention is an innovative healthcare delivery model aimed at reducing health disparities among vulnerable populations and individuals with chronic kidney diseases. GENERAL Location: Uparhali, Assam Type of Employment: Contractual for 1 year, renewable based on performance Number of Positions: 1 Reporting to: Project Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities: As the Dialysis Technician, your primary responsibilities will include: - Maintaining and cleaning dialysis machines and equipment - Sanitizing the dialysis machines and surrounding areas - Monitoring water treatment and reprocessing the dialyzer - Observing patients during treatment for signs of medical emergencies - Educating patients on dialysis and additional healthcare measures - Collaborating with nurses and doctors to administer the correct treatment - Monitoring patient's vascular access and documenting patient progress - Participating in the quality improvement of the Center - Ensuring the safe application of treatments and making necessary alterations - Documenting pre-dialysis specifications including patient weight, temperature, and vital signs Educational Qualifications: - Degree/Diploma in Dialysis Experience and Skills: - Minimum 5-6 years of experience in a Dialysis Center - Proficiency in English and Hindi for communication and documentation - Data analysis, reporting, and presentation skills - Willingness to travel extensively in remote areas Join us in our mission to provide quality healthcare services to those in need and make a positive impact on the lives of vulnerable communities.,
