Senior Automation Engineer

Overview of the Role

We're looking for a seasoned Senior QA Automation Engineer with deep hands-on experience in Java-based test automation, particularly using Selenium for web applications and Appium for mobile platforms.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java with Selenium for web applications.
• Build and implement Appium-based automation for Android and iOS mobile applications
• Automate functional, integration, and regression test cases for both web and mobile products.
• Enhance and scale reusable automation frameworks that support long-term test stability.
• Validate backend data using SQL queries integrated with automation flows.
• Collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.
• Contribute to the integration of automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines.
• Actively participate in sprint planning, agile ceremonies, and backlog grooming sessions.

Desired Skill / Background

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing using Selenium.
• Minimum 2 years working with Appium for mobile test automation.
• Strong Java programming skills and object-oriented design principles.
• Solid understanding of SQL and experience with data validation through database queries.
• Proven experience building and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and test management tools like JIRA or TestRail.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Background or familiarity with Land Records or similar domains.
• Experience with cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
• Exposure to API testing using tools like Postman or JMeter.
