Job Description

Strong SAP SuccessFactors EC implementation experience:

  • What it means:

    The company is looking for someone who has

    hands-on experience implementing SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC)

    this is the core HR system in the SuccessFactors suite.
  • Why it's important:

    EC handles critical employee data like job info, personal data, org structure, etc. Implementation experience means you've helped companies set this up from scratch or done major configurations.

SAP understanding & experience across SAP EC modules

  • What it means:

    You should have a good grasp of

    various Employee Central modules

    like Position Management, Time Off, Global Benefits, etc., and possibly some broader

    SAP HCM

    or

    SAP S/4HANA HR

    exposure.
  • Why it's important:

    Shows you're not just technically skilled but understand how different parts of the SAP HR ecosystem work together.

SAP SuccessFactors & HRIS experience (implementation preferred)

  • What it means:

    They want you to be familiar with

    HR systems (HRIS)

    beyond just SF preferably have experience implementing them.
  • Why it's important:

    Shows you can work with HR teams and understand overall HR operations, not just tech tools.

Excellent Communication Skills

  • What it means:

    You should be able to clearly explain technical things to non-technical people and work well in teams.
  • Why it's important:

    SF roles often involve working with HR teams, IT teams, and sometimes clients — communication is key.

Agile & SharePoint knowledge/experience (good to have)

  • What it means:

    • Agile:

      You’ve worked in projects using agile methodology — like working in sprints, daily stand-ups, etc.
    • SharePoint:

      You know how to use SharePoint to manage documents, tasks, or collaborate with teams.
  • Why it's important:

    These aren't mandatory, but having them makes you a stronger candidate for collaboration in modern project environments.
