SAP HANA Database Administration : Install, configure, and upgrade SAP HANA databases. Perform regular database maintenance, including data backups, restores, and recovery. Monitor database performance and optimize as required. System Administration : Manage SAP application servers, instances, and system landscapes. Perform system copies, system refreshes, and client copies. System Monitoring and Performance Tuning : Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address potential issues. Fine-tune system parameters to optimize performance. System Security : Implement and maintain security policies for SAP systems, including user management, roles, and authorizations. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations. Transport Management : Oversee the transport landscape, import and export transport requests between systems, and coordinate with developers and functional consultants. Patch Management and Upgrades : Apply SAP software patches, support packages, and upgrades. Plan and execute system upgrades while minimizing downtime. High Availability and Disaster Recovery : Set up and maintain high availability and disaster recovery solutions for SAP systems. Incident Management : Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and incidents. Collaborate with other IT teams to provide timely resolutions. System Documentation : Maintain up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and processes. SAP Solution Manager : Work with SAP Solution Manager to manage system landscapes, perform system diagnostics, and utilize monitoring capabilities. Change Management : Follow change management processes to ensure smooth system changes and minimize risks. Collaboration and Support : Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and business users to provide technical support and assistance with SAP-related tasks. Performance Analysis : Analyze system performance data, produce reports, and provide insights to management for decision-making.
