Role Overview:

SAP ABAP Consultant with RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF).
Build custom applications and extensions using the
Restful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)
.
Develop and consume
OData services
,
CDS Views
, and
AMDP
for high-performance solutions.
Perform detailed code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices and SAP standards.
Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality technical solutions.
Provide support for issue resolution, performance tuning, and system optimization.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical solutioning during project delivery.
Stay updated with the latest innovations in
SAP S/4HANA
and ABAP programming.

Required Skills & Experience:

811 years of experience in
SAP ABAP development
, with at least
2 end-to-end S/4HANA implementations
.
Strong hands-on experience with
RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model)
.
Proficiency in
ABAP Objects
,
CDS Views
,
AMDP
, and
OData
.
Familiarity with
SAP Fiori/UI5
integration is a strong advantage.
Deep understanding of performance optimization and modern ABAP design principles.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
