For Blood bank Donor Management Assists in donor motivation. Performs pre donation donor screening. Testing apheresis donors. Identifies and communicates any abnormal pre donation tests reports to MO. Performs phlebotomy and related blood donation activities. Performs apheresis procedures. Works in the team of donor management. Testing Understands blood bank technology including donor screening, blood grouping, cross matching, IH testing, TTI screening, QC testing. Organize work by matching blood requests with test tube labelling; sorting samples; checking labelling; logging samples; cross matching and reserving units ready for issue, keeping work surfaces clean and orderly. Safe disposal of TTI reactive units as per BMW regulation. Component Management Performs blood component separation, labelling, quality control of blood components produced.
