Supervise and manage chemical reactions and processes used to produce agrochemical products. Monitor reaction parameters (temperature, pressure, pH) and make adjustments as necessary. Scale up laboratory processes to industrial production. Conduct routine testing and analysis of raw materials, intermediates, and final products. Ensure products meet regulatory and quality standards (e.g., ISO, BIS, REACH). Troubleshoot quality issues and implement corrective actions. Improve production processes to increase yield, reduce waste, and lower costs. Analyze data from production runs to identify areas for improvement. Collaborate with R&D to implement new or improved formulations. Enforce chemical handling and storage protocols in line with OSHA, GHS, or local regulations. Maintain safety documentation such as MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets). Conduct risk assessments and participate in hazard analysis. Maintain batch production records and process documentation. Prepare technical reports and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures). Ensure compliance with environmental and industrial regulations. Coordinate with plant operators, engineers, quality analysts, and R&D teams. Train and supervise junior chemists and production staff.
