Job Description

Sales and Business Development: Actively promote and sell the banks products and services such as loans, credit cards, savings accounts, insurance, investment products, and other financial services. Meet or exceed sales targets set by the bank, including both individual and team-based goals. Identify and approach potential customers through various channels (cold calling, referrals, networking, etc.). Cross-sell and up-sell banking products to existing customers based on their financial needs. Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers. Offer personalized solutions to customers banking needs, providing information on products and services that best suit their financial goals. Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns. Provide top-notch customer service to ensure a positive experience, fostering long-term loyalty. Market and Product Knowledge: Stay updated on banking industry trends, new products, and competitor offerings. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the banks products, services, and promotions to provide accurate information to customers. Identify customer needs and match them with the banks offerings, ensuring that the products and services sold are suitable for the customer. Lead Generation and Networking: Generate leads and prospects through direct selling efforts, referrals, and networking activities. Attend events, meetings, and networking opportunities to promote the banks services and establish new business relationships. Sales Reporting and Documentation: Track sales activities and maintain records of customer interactions, leads, and conversions. Prepare and submit regular sales reports to management detailing performance, progress toward targets, and customer feedback. Ensure all paperwork related to sales transactions is completed accurately and promptly. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all sales activities and customer interactions are compliant with banking regulations, policies, and ethical standards. Conduct due diligence during the customer onboarding process to verify identity and assess risk. Maintain confidentiality and protect customer data in accordance with bank policies and regulations. Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other departments, including Relationship Managers, Operations, and Customer Service teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and resolution of customer issues. Participate in team meetings, training, and other activities to stay aligned with the banks goals and initiatives.
