Regional Sales Manager

The position you are applying for involves assisting with the soliciting and handling of sales opportunities at Sheraton Grand Chennai Resort & Spa. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that business is turned over properly and in a timely manner for effective service delivery. You will play a key role in leading day-to-day sales activities with a focus on establishing long-term, value-based customer relationships to meet sales objectives and achieve personal sales goals. As a candidate for this position, you should possess a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 2 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree in the aforementioned majors is also accepted without any work experience requirement. Your core work activities will involve building successful relationships that generate sales opportunities by collaborating with off-property sales channels, developing relationships with customers, and managing relationships with key stakeholders. You will also be responsible for participating in sales calls, supporting operational aspects of business bookings, and utilizing market trends and customer information to maximize revenue. Additionally, you will provide exceptional customer service by supporting the company's service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty, and executing the company's customer service standards.
