Quality Inspector

1. Inspecting Raw Materials and Components: Ensuring incoming materials meet specifications through visual and measurement tests. Rejecting or returning unacceptable materials to the supplier. Collaborating with the purchasing team on material quality issues. 2. Monitoring Production Processes: Observing production operations to ensure adherence to quality control procedures. Making recommendations for adjustments to assembly or production processes. Identifying and addressing potential quality issues during production. 3. Inspecting Finished Products: Conducting final inspections to verify products meet established standards. Using measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Approving or rejecting finished products based on inspection results. Documenting inspection findings and generating quality control reports. 4. Identifying and Addressing Non-Conformance: Identifying defects or deviations from specifications. Communicating identified issues to production supervisors or relevant teams. Working with teams to implement corrective and preventative actions. 5. Maintaining Quality Standards and Procedures: Understanding and following quality standards, policies, and procedures. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards (e.g., ISO, GMP). Participating in audits and maintaining quality documentation. 6. Continuous Improvement: Identifying areas for process improvement and collaborating with teams to implement changes. Contributing to the development of new quality control procedures and standards. 7. Training and Support: Training production staff on quality standards and procedures. Providing support and guidance to production teams on quality-related matters. 8. Maintaining Equipment: Monitoring and maintaining the calibration of testing equipment. Ensuring that inspection tools are in proper working condition.
