Quality Inspector

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement QA plans and procedures specific to the project.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality plans.
• Identify, document, and manage any non-conformities or quality issues, and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Conduct material inspections, ensuring that all materials used on-site meet the projects quality standards.
• Oversee and coordinate testing and inspection activities, including concrete tests, weld inspections, and soil tests.
• Review and approve QA/QC documentation from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Maintain detailed records of all quality control activities, inspections, and tests.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Prepare and submit detailed QA/QC reports to the project management team.
• Ensure that all quality documentation is properly maintained and organized.
• Coordinate with the project management team to address any quality-related issues promptly.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Provide guidance and training to site staff on quality control procedures and standards.
• Liaise with clients and regulatory bodies during site inspections and audits.

Site Management:

• Ensure that all site activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
• Manage and oversee site-based QA/QC personnel, if applicable.
