Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 3 to 5 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide valuable feedback, designing and executing test cases (both manual and automated), tracking bugs using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, performing regression testing, and collaborating with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers. You will be expected to create detailed test plans and test cases, maintain documentation for testing procedures and results, and actively participate in Agile/Scrum meetings while contributing to sprint planning. Your 35 years of QA experience in software testing will be essential in this role, along with a strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes. Hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing, writing clear and comprehensive test plans and cases, and familiarity with bug tracking tools like JIRA or TestRail are required skills for this position. Additionally, working knowledge of SQL and scripting for data validation, experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman, or REST Assured, and a good understanding of SDLC and Agile development processes will be beneficial.
