Job Description

Job Purpose:

To ensure that all products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the production process, maintaining compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, and customer-specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control & Monitoring
  • Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Conduct routine checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspections, test results, and corrective actions taken.
  • Documentation & Compliance
  • Prepare and maintain QA documentation, including batch records, inspection reports, and deviation reports.
  • Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, ISO 22000, and other applicable standards.
  • Assist in internal and external audits, preparing reports and implementing corrective actions.
  • Process Improvement
  • Identify quality issues and participate in root cause analysis.
  • Suggest and implement process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce wastage.
  • Training & Awareness
  • Train production staff on quality standards, personal hygiene, and food safety practices.
  • Conduct periodic quality awareness sessions for factory staff.
  • Sampling & Testing
  • Collect and prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
  • Coordinate with external labs for microbiological and chemical testing as required.
  • Equipment & Hygiene Monitoring
  • Ensure sanitation and hygiene practices across the production area.
  • Monitor calibration of QA instruments and measuring equipment.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: B.Sc./M.Sc. in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of QA/QC experience in the food processing/packaging industry.
  • Knowledge:
  • Understanding of FSSAI, HACCP, ISO, and GMP guidelines.
  • Basic knowledge of microbiological testing and food safety protocols.
  • Documentation and record-keeping practices for audits.
  • Skills:
  • Good observation and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with production teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,038.51 - ₹25,674.90 per month
