Job Description

Key Responsibilities Supervise QC lab and in‑process inspection of raw materials, compounds, and finished plastic products . Develop, implement, and maintain QC procedures, SOPs, STPs, and quality documentation Operate and troubleshoot key polymer test methods: FT‑IR, GC, GPC, DSC, TGA, viscometry, colorimetry, etc. Conduct internal audits and act as QC representative during ISO or customer audits . Lead root‑cause analysis and CAPA efforts for quality deviations Collaborate with production, R&D, procurement, and suppliers to ensure material quality and support new product trials or process adjustments simplyhired.co.in Guide, mentor, and schedule QC lab technicians; ensure proper operation and calibration of QC equipment Manage documentation of safety data (SDS), regulatory records, and laboratory housekeeping standards . Address customer quality complaints and initiate corrective actions as needed in. Qualifications & Skills B.Sc/M.Sc in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Plastics Engineering, or B.Tech in Chemical/Polymer Engineering. 1–4 years of QC experience in polymer, resin, or plastic processing industries (e.g., extrusion, injection molding) Experience with calibration, lab management, internal audits, and compliance to ISO 9001 or GMP/GLP. Proficiency in analytical instrumentation: FT‑IR, GC/GPC, DSC/TGA, colorimeter, viscometer careers.
