QA - Tester

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Tester to join our growing team at Meritorious Infotech in Nanpura, Surat. This role focuses on manual testing of mobile applications across Android and iOS platforms. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the stability, usability, and performance of our apps before they reach the hands of real users.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience in mobile QA who’s eager to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute manual testing for mobile applications (Android and iOS)
• Design and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Report, track, and validate bugs using JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar tools
• Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, usability, and performance testing
• Coordinate with developers and designers to resolve issues
• Ensure product quality and usability before release
• Contribute to continuous improvement in QA processes

Required Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in mobile app testing
• Familiarity with Android and iOS platforms/devices
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
• Proficient in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
• Experience with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Mantis, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to API testing tools like Postman or Swagger
• Basic knowledge of test automation (e.g., Appium, Selenium)
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Familiarity with crash reporting tools like Firebase Crashlytics

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
