QA Engineer

Job Description

Candidate should be passionate around solving business problems through innovation & engineering practices. This person will be required to apply his/her depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with our many stake holders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including: Required Qualifications At least 5-6 years of Information Technology experience At least 1 years of hands on experience in automation Experience with Test planning and Test Execution Experience with api automation Understanding of CI/CD and how QA/automation process fits into the model Knowledge and experience with full SDLC lifecycle Analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems and make data-driven decisions Experience with Test planning and monitoring and Execution Effectively communicates testing activities and findings in oral and written forms Experience with Agile development methodologies Controls and manages own daily test activities Preferred Experience Knowledge of Insurance, Re-insurance and Underwriting concepts /Understanding of policy structure (layers, limits, deductibles) and how itworks in insurance industry Strong hold in the Insurance broking industry, Underwriting, Risk management Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role Familiarity with various testing techniques Knowledge of quality standards and regulations SQL and ability to write complex queries to validate
