PROGRAMMER & PRODUCTION INCHARGE FOR HMC,VMC,VTL,CNC

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced VMC/HMC Programmer to program and support CNC Vertical and Horizontal Machining Centers in a fast-paced sheet metal fabrication environment. The ideal candidate should be proficient in interpreting engineering drawings, using CAM software, and optimizing CNC programs to produce high-quality, precision components.

Key Responsibilities:

• CNC Programming:
• Create and edit programs for VMC (Vertical Machining Centers) and HMC (Horizontal Machining Centers) using CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, Siemens NX, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Optimize tool paths for efficient machining and cycle time reduction.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds based on material and geometry.
• Drawing Interpretation:
• Read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and part specifications.
• Identify potential issues or design improvements related to manufacturability.
• Machine Setup & Support:
• Provide setup sheets and instructions for machine operators.
• Assist in machine setup, tool loading, and first-article inspection when needed.
• Troubleshoot machining issues and modify programs as required.
• Process Improvement:
• Work closely with design, quality, and production teams to improve machining processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure machined components meet tolerance, surface finish, and dimensional requirements.
• Collaborate with the quality team for in-process and final inspections.

Qualifications:

• ITI / Diploma / Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in CNC programming for VMC/HMC machines.
• Hands-on experience with CAM software and G-code editing.
• Knowledge of metal properties and machining techniques, particularly in sheet metal parts.
• Familiarity with 3-axis and 4-axis machining; 5-axis is a plus.
• Strong understanding of GD&T, tooling, and fixture design.

Pay: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
