Job Description:

We are seeking a Production Chemist with hands-on experience in shade matching, preferably within the paint or cosmetics industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of color theory, formulation techniques, and production processes to ensure consistent quality and color accuracy in final products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform shade matching for paints or cosmetic products as per product specifications.
• Conduct batch adjustments to achieve desired shade and consistency.
• Assist in scale-up from lab to production and monitor the production process for color accuracy.
• Maintain accurate records of formulas, test results, and adjustments.
• Collaborate with the R&D and quality control teams to resolve color variation issues.
• Ensure all products meet regulatory and safety standards.
• Work in accordance with SOPs and maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.

Key Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Chemistry or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in shade matching in the paint or cosmetics industry.
• Good understanding of color matching techniques, pigments, dyes, and formulation practices.
• Attention to detail and a good eye for color.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
