Job Description

This is a full-time role for a Product Designer at MEDISYS in Noida. As a Product Designer you will be responsible for designing user-centric products that improve patient outcomes, comply with regulatory standards, and enhance usability in clinical settings.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, regulatory, and clinical) to develop intuitive and effective medical devices.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and ethnographic studies to inform design decisions.
• Create design concepts, prototypes, and detailed specifications using CAD – 3D and UX tools.
• Ensure product designs meet human factors and ergonomic standards.
• Work within ISO 13485 and FDA guidelines to ensure compliance with medical device regulations.
• Translate complex technical and clinical requirements into user-friendly product solutions.
• Participate in risk assessment and design validation activities.
• Maintain thorough documentation for design history files (DHFs) and usability engineering files (UEFs).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Proven experience of 5 – 6 years of experience in product design, preferably in the medical devices industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo), and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or Sketch).
• Knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes for medical-grade products.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with regulatory environments such as FDA, CE Marking, and ISO standards.
