Primary English Teacher

Responsible for teaching English to primary classes (Grades 15), focusing on building strong reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills. The role includes planning engaging lessons, assessing student progress, managing classroom behavior, and fostering a positive learning environment. Collaboration with peers and participation in school activities is also expected.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Teach English to students of Grades 15, focusing on foundational language skills.
  
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the curriculum.
  
• Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress.
  
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  
• Use storytelling, phonics, and activities to build literacy.
  
• Maintain student records and communicate progress to parents.
  
• Participate in school events, co-curricular activities, and training programs.
  

Qualifications:

• Graduate in English and M.A in English.
  
• B.Ed. or equivalent teacher training certification (mandatory in most CBSE/ICSE schools).
  
• Prior teaching experience at the primary level is an added advantage.
