Plant Operator (ETP,MEE, ATFD, STP, RO)

A Water Treatment Plant Operating Engineer / Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the safety and quality of by operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring water quality, and ensuring compliance with regulations

Responsibilities:

• • Operate and monitor water treatment equipment and processes to ensure clean and safe water delivery to the community.
• • Perform regular inspections and water sample tests to monitor quality parameters (e.g., pH, chlorine, turbidity).
• • Adjust treatment processes and equipment settings to ensure regulatory compliance.
• • Maintain accurate records, including daily logs, test results, chemical usage, and maintenance activities.
• • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment such as pumps, valves, filters, and chemical feed systems.
• • Analyze data and trends to identify issues or improvements and implement corrective actions.
• • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations (e.g., EPA, state, and local agencies).
• • Respond promptly to emergencies or equipment malfunctions to prevent disruptions and protect public health.
• • Collaborate with operators and maintenance teams to coordinate operations and upkeep.
• • Stay informed on the latest water treatment technologies and regulatory updates.

Qualification & Skills

• • Any Degree / Diploma / B.E. in any specialization.
• • Fresher or 1+ year of experience in water treatment plant operations.
• • Strong technical knowledge of water treatment systems and processes.
• • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• • Attention to detail for accurate monitoring and analysis.
• • Ability to interpret and apply relevant regulations.
• • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• • Physical stamina to perform maintenance tasks and operate heavy equipment.
• • Ability to work independently and respond to emergencies quickly.
• • Proficient in computer skills for data entry, analysis, and reporting.
