Planning & Dispatch Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispatch Coordination:
• Plan and schedule dispatches based on order priority and delivery deadlines.
• Supervise loading/unloading activities and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with transporters for vehicle availability and routing.
• Planning & Scheduling:
• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly dispatch plans.
• Monitor inventory levels and align dispatches with production schedules.
• Forecast transport requirements based on order pipeline.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Ensure all dispatch documentation (e.g., invoices, e-way bills, LR, gate pass) is correctly prepared.
• Maintain dispatch logs, delivery records, and vehicle movement registers.
• Ensure compliance with legal and company safety regulations.
• Team Coordination:
• Supervise and guide dispatch staff and labor.
• Coordinate with sales, production, warehouse, and transport teams for smooth operations.
• Customer Service & Issue Resolution:
• Track shipments and provide timely updates to customers.
• Handle dispatch-related complaints or delivery issues effectively.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong organizational and planning abilities
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP/SAP systems
• Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Knowledge of transport regulations and documentation

Job Type: Full-time
