Reporting to the Team Lead, you will make decisions on how best to deliver activities and be accountable for the development and management of budgets, plans, marketing, stewardship, reporting and evaluations. KEY FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES Positively engage with the public and motivate them to support Plan by donating on a long term Represent Plan India in different malls, residential premises, etc. Work with your Team Leader and Coach to achieve weekly quantity and quality fundraising targets . Raise awareness of Plan work with children. Develop fundraising techniques with your Team Leader and Coach to improve the income of Plan Ensure you possess relevant collateral/resources to carry out your role Obtain and identify quality donors using methods outlined in Core Skills training. Maintain the highest possible standards of integrity, consistent with Plans values. Treat all information obtained by donors as confidential and safely and securely . Participate in t raining sessions as directed by your Team Leader or Coach. Actively share Plan information and fundraising techniques with fellow team members . About Plan India ABOUT THE PROJECT The Durex led The Birds and Bees Talk program has developed an innovative, engaging curriculum designed to address the information gap around Young people s Reproductive and Sexual Health and Rights to provide them with a comprehensive life skills curriculum that addresses Power, Protection and Pleasure. The project aims to use an affirmative approach to sexuality education as part of essential life skills and holistic development to equip adolescents with the right knowledge, skills, attitudes and values. Programme Objective: Empower Adolescents with critical lifesaving information that promotes healthy behaviors to grow into responsible, Healthy Adults. Equip students with essential life skills, knowledge, attitude, and values. Programme Outcome: Knowledge, Awareness and Behavioural outcomes: Improved Knowledge and Awareness about sexual health, sexual risk behaviour, gender equality and Diversity. Positive improvement in self-confidence, self-awareness, social skills. Improved Health outcomes among Adolescents through Behavioural nudges. Chief of Party and needs to ensure that donor requirements are fulfilled, especially with regards to quality interventions, procurement procedures, financial management, liaising and reporting. The person will be responsible for the coordination and supporting the implementation teams and partners to achieve successful implementation of project activities in line with Plan India s and Reckitt s standards. Some of the activities that come under the purview of the role are: Preparing strategy decks for all programmes Ensuring the project achieves targeted impact numbers. Preparing and sharing the monthly and quarterly work plans and making sure team adheres to protocol. Provide strategic guidance to projects on effective implementation Responsible for the coordination and supporting the implementation teams on field Major Responsibilities: Lead state and regional teams on ground to ensure that the project is implemented according to PLAN s contractual agreements and standards. Regularly monitor timely implementation of the project as well as the management of budget and finances of the project at ground. Excellent liaison with state departments for promotional activities and seeking support from various Government bodies. Tracking work plan of each state and ensuring that the targets are delivered. Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in Programs for Social Development and humanitarian in areas of Child Rights, Gender and Influencing in India. Demonstrated experience working with ministries, Govt. systems (national, regional, district), donors, civil society and other development actors. Excellent ability to manage senior team members and monitor multiple projects and proven in-depth knowledge of in Project Management. Demonstrated experience in designing, developing and writing project proposals, reports, and good presentation skills. Demonstrated experience leading a technical activity, through evidence and data driven decision-making and using M&E data for program/project quality improvement, and serving in technical advisory roles Strong design and conceptualization skills - able to think creatively and; systematically at all program levels. Experience in monitoring budgets and provide guidance to the teams. Experience in quality assurance and quality improvement. Skills and Competencies: Ability to track and check progress against complex metrics periodically and present dashboards. Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines independently with sound decision making. Ability to work with staff based in multiple locations and build a culture of meritocracy in the team. Strong experience building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Self-starter, team player and highly result-oriented. Strong strategic, analytical, negotiation and advocacy skills. Excellent communication and writing skills.
