Hiring P&I Engineer The Piping and Instrumentation (P&I) Engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of piping and instrumentation systems for a CBG plant. This role requires a strong background in process engineering, piping design, and instrumentation, with a focus on optimizing biogas production processes, ensuring safety, and complying with regulatory standards. Role & responsibilities Prepare and manage piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) over the full project lifecycle Optimize system solutions by reviewing the mass- and energy balance results Integrate and improve control strategies and maintenance philosophies Develop innovative concepts for modularization and standardization of the design process and the solutions. Prepare and manage equipment lists Reviewing and integrate PIDs of package units Take the responsibility to coordinate with all stakeholders Clarify, discuss and present the technical solution towards the customer Supporting the selection process of the process equipment Align and check the layout and piping engineering results 10. Ability to consult with customers and notified bodies about technical design requirements is expected. 11. Explain design solutions in an engaging manner 12. Knowledge about ISO/EN standard, additional knowledge about US standards is a plus. 13. Strong communication, analytical and planning Desired Profile: 1. 5+ years of experience in piping and instrumentation design, preferably in CBG, biogas, or related industries such as oil & gas, wastewater treatment, or energy sectors. 2. Expertise in creating and reviewing P&ID diagrams, piping isometrics, and instrumentation loop diagrams. 3. Strong knowledge of process equipment used in CBG plants, such as gas pipelines, compressors, digesters, gas cleaning systems, and storage tanks. 4. Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Plant 3D, and PDS (Plant Design System) for piping and instrumentation. 5. Familiarity with industry standards and codes (ASME, API, ISA, etc.) for piping and instrumentation design. 6. Understanding of gas handling, pressure management, and safety systems in biogas or related industries. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot piping and instrumentation issues.
