Post: Physiotherapy (BPT) - Principal / Associate Professor Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to join our institute as the Principal of Bachelor of Physiotherapy Course. Principal will be responsible for overseeing the Academic, Administrative, and Operational Functions of the Physiotherapy College. The role requires a seasoned academic professional with a strong background in physiotherapy education, research, and practice. The Principal will lead the institute to achieve its academic goals and foster a culture of excellence in teaching, learning, and clinical practice. Qualifications: - A Master Degree in Physiotherapy (MPT). - A minimum of 03 to 07 years of Academic Experience in a Physiotherapy Institution, including significant leadership roles. - Proven experience in curriculum development, affiliation processes, and academic administration. - Strong leadership, strategic planning, and decision-making abilities. - Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills. - Ability to foster a collaborative and inclusive academic environment. - Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion within the department. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development, implementation, and evaluation of undergraduates in Physiotherapy. - Ensure the highest standards of academic quality, curriculum, and instructional delivery. - Foster a collaborative environment for faculty, students, and staff, promoting interdisciplinary research and innovation. - Recruit, mentor, and develop faculty members, ensuring continuous professional development and academic excellence. - Oversee faculty workload, performance evaluations, and promotions in line with university policies. - Encourage faculty involvement in scholarly activities, clinical practice, and community service. - Student Engagement & Success: - Enhance student learning experiences by integrating innovative teaching methods, practical training, and clinical exposure. - Oversee student admissions, advising, and support services, ensuring high retention and graduation rates. - Strategic Planning & Administration: - Develop and implement strategic plans for the growth and development of the Physiotherapy institute. - Collaborate with university leadership, other departments, and external partners to align departmental goals with the institute mission. - Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance the departments reputation.
